Act 1: Thesis. World before story
Starts Act 1 knowing the 6 things that need fixing either with the main character or with the world.
Opening Image (1):
Theme Stated (5):
Break into Two (25)The hero needs to be proactive. They are the ones that push us into 2. Hero willing to try.
Act 2: Antithesis. Bizarro verison/or flip of the world in act 1
Transformation section. The hero will come into this act in one way and leave it changed.
B Story (30): other characters who will teach him about humanity (theme)
Fun and Games (30-55): Fish out of water.
Midpoint (55): False victory or False defeat.
Bad Guys Close In (55-75): (if there was a false victory at midpoint, then put false defeat here; if there was a false defeat at midpoint, then put false victory here
All Is Lost (75): Flip of the midpoint.
Dark Night of the Soul (75-85):Break into Three (85): The A Story and B Story have come together. The people from the B story can kick you into act 3.
Act 3. Synthesis. The worlds from act 1 and act 2 are merged in some way. The six things wrong with the world or hero in act 1 should be resolved.
Finale (85-110): The things wrong with the world of hero in act 1 should be restored.
Final Image (110): matches opening image
